MEETING SACRIFICE
Since its inception in 2007, Folds of Honor has awarded nearly 73,000 scholarships totaling over $340 million to the spouses and children of America's fallen and disabled service members. And now, in our biggest announcement yet, we are expanding the Folds of Honor mission to incorporate America's first responders, including police, fire-fighters, EMTs and paramedics.
There are nearly 2 million first responders in the United States who respond to approximately 240 million calls made each year. Every time they respond to one of these calls, they are putting their life on the line. In 2021 alone, 669 law enforcement officers and 135 fire-fighters perished while on duty in the U.S.
Appreciation for U.S. military service members and First Responders is the single most unifying position held by Americans. On this we agree: those who protect our freedom and our families deserve our unwavering support.
It is our hope that the expanded Folds of Honor mission will inspire unity among Americans and let first responders and their families know that they are not alone.
WISCONSIN FOLDS OF HONOR INVITATIONAL
The Wisconsin Folds of Honor Invitational supports our mission to provide educational scholarships to the families of our nation’s disabled and fallen veterans and first responders.
To date, Folds of Honor has awarded over 72,000 scholarships in all 50 states and some US territories. Minority scholarship recipients represent 45% of all educational scholarships.
Folds of Honor is proud to have a cumulative average ratio of 91% of every dollar raised going to our scholarship program. Folds of Honor is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization. Rated a four-star charity by Charity Navigator and Platinum on GuideStar.
HIGHER EDUCATION
The Higher Education scholarships are awarded to the spouses and children currently attending or recently accepted into a 2-year or 4-year degree program at an institution of higher education or a vocational/certification program.
CHILDREN'S FUND
The Children’s Fund scholarship seeks to provide support for dependent(s) enrolled in grades K-12. Funds may be used for private school tuition, educational tutoring, an approved / accredited homeschooling curriculum, required books and uniforms.

IN THE FOLDED FLAG WE SEE THE HEAVY PRICE OF FREEDOM
Yet it’s also a symbol of hope, representing the enduring ideals that make this country a beacon of democracy. We chose this logo because it reflects our mission – to honor the sacrifice of America’s heroes, while giving hope to the bearers of their legacy.
Folds of Honor has grown from a vision into a movement. This folded flag is a constant reminder of those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom. It inspires us to help equip and educate their loved ones in need of our support.
